Letter of Application*
This where you tell us who you are and why you think that you deserve one of the RCSCBF scholarships. Tell us what interests you, what you like to do, what you have accomplished that you take particular pride in, why you chose the programme you wish to follow and anything else that would help us get a picture of who you are. This letter should be no longer than two typewritten pages.

Cadet's Résumé*
This is where you show us what you have done. You can do so in paragraph or point form. Tell us what activities you have participated in at school, in your community, and with Cadets. What are your hobbies and special interests? What jobs have you had? Make sure to tell us about any awards or special recognition that you or the groups that you have been part of have received.

Letters of Recommendation
One must come from your Commanding Officer and you must submit a minimum of two additional letters, but no more than three, from other people in your community who know you and feel that you deserve a scholarship.

Official Education Documents
Final Year Mid Term Marks*
This should be a certified copy as issued by the responsible educational authority, which records your mid-term examination results, by subjects and the same one that you are using in your application to the Postsecondary Education Institution that you plan to attend. If it is not clearly stated on the document note your average.

LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE OR PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE FROM THE INSTITUTION THAT YOU PLAN TO ATTEND*
If you are unable to provide this at the time you make your application attach an explanation and an indication when you will be able to forward it. It must be received with your final marks no later than August 1.

Final Transcript
This must be a certified copy of your final marks as issued by your Provincial Education Ministry. If it is not clearly stated on the document note your average. Forward your transcript by e mail or mail as soon as you receive it. It must be received no later than August 1st. If this is not possible, contact the Foundation and request an extension.
